• repeated threats;
• Threats of bodily harm;
• Physical or psychological intimidation;
• Extortion of any kind;
• Fight against or other acts or threats of violence;
• post extensive information about another person without their consent on the Internet, bulletin boards, school walls, personal belongings, or any other place – be it during school hours or not, and
• Bullying, for some reason, but mainly for reasons of race, sex, disability, language or physical characteristic.
In addition, school staff, schools in Philadelphia have received help from students and their parents. The hotline serves more than 175 languages through telephone interpreting service. Philadelphia Schools pledge to act on a reported problem within 24 hours of receipt of the complaint hotline.
Philadelphia Flyers in schools in nine different languages that the school policy to describe these negative behaviors, the Bully Hotline, and instructions for non-English language for people to contact the hotline. The leaflets were sent to parents of students in their schools.
Philadelphia schools are really concerned about the safety and well-being of its students.
